Travel & Tips

GETTING THERE

We recommend flying to Guarulhos Airport (GRU) in São Paulo.

Ubatuba is about 200km from São Paulo. We understand this is not the most convenient location for those travelling from another country; thus, we will arrange transfers from the airport to the wedding venue for our guests. If you require a transfer, please do let us know as soon as possible so we can try and accommodate everyone. More information about the transfers to follow soon!

If you prefer driving, we recommend using booking apps such as Skyscanner or Kayak to find better deals on car rentals. You can rent a car in Brazil using your foreign passport and a valid driver's license. We can assist you with the best routes and parking lot at the site.
The traffic in Brazil (especially in São Paulo) can be heavy at times. Be aware of that when planning your drive to Ubatuba.

WHERE TO STAY

Q & A

If you have questions about anything related to the wedding or Brazil, we hope this Q&A can help. If your question is not answered here, just drop us a message and we will be happy to help!

Q: What should I wear? Is there a dress code?
A: We recommend a semi-formal/cocktail attire, for both the ceremony and the reception at the beach.

Q: What will the weather be like?

A: In March starts the Autumn season in Brazil. In Ubatuba, the weather will likely be something between 25 and 34°C. However, do not forget that Brazil is a tropical country, so rain and cold breeze are always a possibility. Pack accordingly.

Q: Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

A: Both the ceremony and the reception will be outdoors (on the beach), unless the weather decides to surprise us.

Q: Can I bring a date/plus one?

A: We have a strict guest list to stay on budget, so we might only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Q: When is the RSVP deadline?

A: We understand there's a lot to plan when travelling to another country. However, it would be great if you could RSVP as soon as possible.

Q: What if I have a dietary restriction?

A: If you have a dietary restriction, please let us know so we can make sure to address this with our caterer beforehand.

Q: How many days do you recommend being in Brazil?

A: Brazil is a huge (and amazing) country. We recommend you to stay for at least one full week, if possible. If you wish to stay longer than that and would like recommendations of places, hotels or anything else, let us know.
